CVID possibly caused by anti-epileptic medication

Hi,
I have been told by my immunologist & neurologist that it is quite possible that my CVID has been caused by my epilepsy medication (Trileptal). Is there anyone who has or knows of anyone who had had this experience? Thanks

Hi Maria, I have just heard about this connection, I also have epilepsy and take medication for it. I have an article on it. If you would like me to email you with it, email me at paulineruddy@hotmail.com

OMG!! I was diagnosed with epilepsy at age 5 and told I "outgrew" it at age eighteen! My CVID symptoms began at age 17, and I was diagnosed at age 28. I am 49 now. The medication you mentioned does not sound familiar, though. I would love a copy of the article!!!

Thanks in advance!
