CVID & IVIG INFORMATION NEEDED
Posted by: Susan (---.home1.cgocable.net)

I have just been diagnosed with CVID recently and have not yet had my first IVIG, I know very little about the illness or the treatment other than what I have read on the net in the medical reports, and it all seems quite scary. I would really like to have some information from others who actually have experienced the treatments and are familiar with the illness. thanks so much Susan

Hi,

I have been diagnosed with CVID for ten years and have had the systoms all my life. I have good doctors and know my body well. I have gone low tech and do not do the infusions although the doctors want me too.
Acupuncture, high vitamin C, antibotics when needed. I try to keep low stress.

All the best,
Susan

Thanks for replying to my email, I will look into what you have told me and ask the specialist I am going to see in the next week or so. The only concern I have is that I have been on antibiotics for cronic sinisitis for over a year now. If I can get beyond this and not have to have IVIG that would be great!! I will definately look into it and thank you so much. With kindest regards, Susan
