Doctor in Austin area
Posted by: Jana (---.proxy.aol.com)
Date: April 16, 2006 04:03AM Hi,
My daughter has what we have been told is a "mildly" low IGG level. This results in many sinus infections. We have been told we are not to the point of IVIG and to use preventative antibiotics. About 6 months ago, the continued use of antibiotics uspet her stomach. We were referred to a wonderful doctor who recommended IGIM (Baygam) we have been doing this once a month and she has been off all preventive antibiotics. She has even been totally healthy for the past few weeks...a miracle to us given all the sickness at school! The problem is that we are now moving to the Austin TX area, most likely Round Rock and I have no idea how to find doctor who will continue this program. Can anyone help?
