Dear people,

I want to learn more about the possibillities of adding pro-biotics (as Yakult) to the treatment of immune-deficiencies.
Please tell me: do you use pro-biotics?
What is the advice of your doctor?
What defiency do you have?
What medication are you on?

Thank you for your answer,

Greetings from Holland, Jellie Zuidema-Cazemier
dietician and mother of a 9 year old CVID son.

Hi Jellie,

I have CVID and the many problems that go along with it. I have been taking acidophilus (probiotics) made by the brand Metagenics for a few years now. I recently moved from California to Colorado and my abdominal pain flared up so intensely that I couldn't handle it. I took an off-brand $8.00 probiotic from a local store with no help. I couldn't find the Metagenics anywhere close to me. Finally, I ordered the product online from my former doctor and it's worth the $33.00 plus shipping! If you try this brand, I hope you have great results too!
