EMIGRATING

Can anyone who lives in Cyprus help? My partner and I are hoping to emigrate to Cyprus in 2 years. However no plans can be made as we don't know if that is possible as I have CVID and recieve IVIG intrevenous infusions every four weeks and take preventative antibiotics. If anyone who has emigrated to Cyprus or was born in the country and has CVID - or even if you have emigrated to another country, can you write back and let me know the proceedure regarding hospitals, insurance, any NHS etc. please? thank you.

Things are changing in Cyprus with their application to join the EU......we have contacts in Cyprus who could maybe be helpful but they have a constant battle to access Ig there and it may be very difficult......I can put someone in touch with you if you want me to - e-mail me direct?

Why does everybody suddenly want to move to Cyprus? Not a bad idea it is, but it surprises me.

I would appreciate the same contact details. I'm interested in the procedure for a South African national to obtain Cyprus residency.

Any advice you can give would be much appreciated.

Regards,

Mazhar

I'm about to be made redundant next summer and I'm considering using my redundancy money to emigrate to Cyprus. Does anyone know how I can go about emigrating. Are there any people I can contact and do I need any visa, work permits etc.
