Finding a doctor
Posted by: flipper (---.atlsfl.adelphia.net)
Date: March 04, 2006 12:25AM My allergist decided to do the blood tests since I never seem to get well. When he diagnosed me with CVID he said I need a good primary doctor. For years my primary doctor has basically said that I was just depressed and I don't have much faith in him. I feel like I was given this information then left out to dry. I've had 3 pneumovac injects. The 3rd slightly increased my antibodies, but I don't feel any better. I just want to make sure that I'm getting the proper care. I also am having a hard time with my family understanding. Some days are better than others and the bad days they don't seem to understand. I feel like I'm letting them down. Date: January 24, 2007 05:09PM If I were you I would go to a immunologist that specialize's in CVID and bring all of your records to them. Or I also found out a hematologist/oncologist may help. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
