IVIG reactions
Posted by: LuLu (---.hsd1.mn.comcast.net)
Date: August 14, 2006 01:42AM Hi,
I've not been able to take the IVIG therapy because I got more ill than without it. I am currently using nothing but supplements and lots of garlic. is there anyone out there with the same issue and what are you doing to stay well most of the time? If I forget to eat the garlic and take massive supplements I get pretty sick but then when I up the garlic I start to feel better. I want to feel well all of the time! = ) Last time I tried the infusion was last fall and I got so deathly ill so it was the last time I tried it. Maybe there are new options availabe? I am IgA deficient and three subclasses of IgG. Re: IVIG reactions

Date: October 02, 2006 05:01AM Yeah I get sick from it to, not as bad as six months ago, then I was down for 2-3 days. Even with the Ivig I'm still tierd, my legs and lungs hurt and I feel crappy 50% of the time. I don't get sores anymore or deathly Ill, but I'm never 100%. I'm see my Doctor on Wednesady 10-4-06 and I'm going to grill him on some of this stuff. Also my skin feels weird when I touch it, don't understand. I'll let you what I find out. Date: July 23, 2007 05:33AM I had a very bad reaction to IgA containing IVIG. I was finally given Gammagard SD, an IgA depleted IVIG and had now negative side effects at all.
Best of luck The Idiopath [idiopath.wordpress.com] Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
