I'm french, since my birth I have a hypogammaglobulinemia (I don't have IgG) when I have 12 years They informe me that I don't have IgA both. I have a lot of problems with my healt, it's not stable. In this times I have musculars problems. Per moment I do not have any more a force to write or walk. I have articular, muscular pains and some times of cramps. They don't know the origin of all that.
I am tired of this life, it is not easy! I will like to know other people who have this disease.

Hi I too have low/no IgA and IgG as well as IgM. I had a problem with swelling/pain of the joints but I have read that its a part of CVID. I have had three IVIG's over last few mothes and that has helped me a lot. Have you been getting treatment for your IgA and IgG deficiancies? If not then you might want to talk with your Dr. about getting started on IVIG.

I still dragg a lot and have my "bad" days but it's not nearly as bad as it was before I got treatments.

I am 35 and have just been diagnosed with hypogamma. They had to run my test twice because my IGg, IGa, IGm was so low they thought something had gone wrong at the lab. I am waiting for my insurance to approve the IVIG. I am scared and am wondering how much better am I going to feel after I start receiving the IVIG. I would love to talk to someone. I have a lot of questions. Please e-mail me.

Have your doctor check your blood levels for vitamin D, Calcium. Magnesium, hemocrit. I had a severe vitamin D deficiency and could barely walk. If you are getting the bad pains during infusion, switch to a different manufacturer or have your trough levels measured before your infusion. The IgG level should be more than 300. Good luck...I have been fighting this for over 15 years.
