Hello everyone,
I was reading some of your posts and found them to be very interesting and helpful so thankyou. I'm 15 and have had IVIG since I was almost 7. I was wondering if there was anyone out there that was close to my age that would be interested in talking. It would be nice to have someone to relate to every once in awhile. Thank you

Hi Catherine

My son is 14 and was just diagnosed with CVID. He had his first IVIG 4 days ago. I found your post and I think he'd like to talk to you -- he needs someone to relate to! We don't know anyone who has this or is going through it and he's been out of school for 4 months so hasn't talked to many people. Anyway, he's sleeping now but I will have him post something. We live in a suburb of Chicago -- how about you?

Hi Drewsmom,
My name is Kristin and I also have CVID and receive IVIG and live in the Western suburbs of Chicago. I am 14 and a freshman in highschool. Tell Drew I'd be intrested in talking to him, if he would like to chat. My treatments are at home (THANK GOD) and my doctors are at Children's Memorial.
Hope to chat soon,
Krissy

How do you MOTIVATE your teenagers or yourselves when you feel like crud? Motivation is really low when I feel like crud when school starts up again because I am off for spring break. If you have any ideas on how to help my motivation, please let me know!!!!
Thanx
Krissy
