WHAT IS IPOPI?

International Patient Organization for Primary Immunodeficiencies

IPOPI is an international organization that was created in order to achieve worldwide improvement in the care and treatment of people with primary immunodeficiencies. Current members of IPOPI include over sixteen primary immune deficiency patient organizations in 20 countries: Australia, Canada, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France,Germany, Ireland, India, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States and Yugoslavia.. Other developing organizations are in Austria, Belgum, Chile, Cyprus, Greece, Hungary, Iran, Kuwait, Lebanon, Mexico, South America, Zimbabwe.

HOW CAN IT HELP?

IPOPI strives to educate the families living with primary immune deficiencies, the medical sector, and the general public by providing newsletters, web sites, a searchable database, E-mail roster, Chat line and discussion groups.

IPOPI strives to be responsive on an international level to the issues of greatest concern to its members. These issues include:
